Florida Republicans x Obama

Almost every piece of furniture in the White House is an antique and often a gift from a foreign country or some dignitary. I’m fairly sure that there is a story behind each one. It is obvious that this guy did not have a proper upbringing and has not demonstrated the respect that most other people would exhibit toward that stately mansion and it’s contents. How many people would go to the Guggenheim and prop their nasty feet up on those furnishings. Our White House is every bit as much of a museum as any other establishment of that caliber.

Pop Quiz: What do ALL these pics share in common?

They all show the same lazy jackass with a basic disrespect for the White House and its furnishings! The White House belongs to the ‘People of America’ and should be more revered than to use anything and everything for a foot rest! It also shows to the citizens of America that this lying imposter has NEVER EVER lived in or learned anything about America during his younger years.

What do you expect from a Chicago hustler,

no class, no manners, no social graces.

SO HERE’S THE MESSAGE FROM THE PEOPLE OF AMERICA:
"OBAMA PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
KEEP YOUR NASTY FEET OFF OF OUR FURNITURE!"

Dear Florida Republicans,

WHY ARE YOU SO RACIST? Someone needs to pat you on the back and say "Girl, let. it. go." I read this as "Why is this nigger in our office, and why are his feet on our good, precious white furniture?"

I found this from a good friend whose Mom replied all with pictures of Bush, Nixon and Johnson: "I’m sending you this in case any idiot sends you the photo of Obama with his shoes up on the desk. THEY ALL PUT THEIR FEET UP."

Questionable Political Slogan of the Day

Questionable Political Slogan of the Day: “How do you beat Obama? Beat him with a Cain.” Asked why he chose that term, given its racial connotations, Cain responded: “Cain. Herman Cain. C-A-I-N. Do I have to connect all the dots for you?”

Long Form Birth Certificate of the Day

Long Form Birth Certificate of the Day: In an effort to put an end to the birther debate once and for all, the President reached out to the Hawaii State Department of Health to request an exception to allow the release of his long form birth certificate in the name of putting the “fake issue” of his citizenship to rest.

The White House has now made that birth certificate available to the public via the White House website. In addition, the President is expected to make an official statement on the matter shortly.

White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer: “The President’s hope is that with this step, we can move on to debating the bigger issues that matter to the American people and the future of the country.”

I support the movement

I feel like it’s been all too long since I’ve shared links, mainly because I don’t have the time to really read all of the articles I get via twitter or randomly find.

Africa x2 – Recently, scientist discovered that the African elephant is actually two separate species – one of the forest and the other of the savannah.

Vacuums, a new view – Researchers have devised a set of equations that suggest a high-energy laser pulse can rip apart the nothingness of a vacuum, turning it into its constituent particles and antiparticles and setting off a chain reaction that actually generates additional matter-antimatter pairs.

Obama: Saint or Hitler – The Onion’s interesting take on how people view Obama. I can’t say I disagree too much with them.

2010 Census Visualizer – A cool way to see the racial makeup of any zip code, regional area or state.

Nostalgia – Remember the 90s? Yeah, this site has a great retrospective of easier, more fun, carefree times.

  1. I re-met Lena Chen this week, except I wasn’t covering her debate for IvyGate, and it was quite pleasant (an no, there was no sex)….
  2. Approximately 18 billion elevator rides are taken every year and awkward conversations abound (funny article on elevator etiquette)
  3. Hmm, bitter about Google giving 10% raises? This article will explain why it’s not a good thing after all…

Tax cuts: Obama v. GOP

I don’t know much about many things but I do know how to ‘interpret’ pictures fairly well. Apparently this is a comparison of the different tax cuts being proposed by Democrats/Obama and the GOP. Keep in mind that the bigger the tax cut, the more those people keep (e.g. millionaires getting an addition 6k or 100k depending on the party).

Apparently this video is at least one month old, but I’m just now seeing it (and loving it). I’m not an Obama stan or anything like that, nor would I see myself voting republican anytime in the next 20 years. And c’mon, John McCain? I digress. This video is an interesting take on the Obama presidency thus far.

The video won’t play from here, but it’s a 2-minute video that’s actually quite humorous – it covers same-sex marriage, healthcare, oil spills and the banking industry. And you can leave your comments here if you’d like but really if you bought into an idea of ‘change’ without asking for tangible goals or you find that change is actually a much harder thing with obstacles in place, well…and I must say that ‘this’ is much better than non-change aka John McCain and the last 8 years in U.S. history.

Is Obama Cinderella?

I don’t really follow politics, so I don’t have any deep thoughts here. Although I do find this image to be quite interesting, and begs the question: what public figure, especially politician, isn’t “Cinderella’d”?
